About me …

My property journey started way back in 1993 (yes, I was very young!)  It was more by default than anything else. I received a small inheritance and instead of wasting it I was keen to put my money to work.

Having a full-time job as a qualified health professional I was able to get a loan for a 2-bedroom miners cottage in Newcastle.  I still own this property today and have purchased additional properties since.

I have worked in the construction industry in all aspects – design, dealing with councils, physically on the job site, coordinating tradespeople etc.

I have also owned a tile and bathroomware business assisting customers in designing and selecting goods for their homes.

My Blog Why – the Reason I started this Blog.

The property market can be a minefield. There are so many “experts” out there. I am no expert, but I would like to think that I can help you to sift through some of the stories, myths and current media releases to assist in your property journey.

As a buyer’s agent I am in contact with many different people – those just starting their property journey, seasoned investors, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, conveyancers, accountants to name some.

The aim of this blog is to cover what’s happening in the market and my take on it, tips to enter the market and how to grow a portfolio.
